How to get Involved
Prayer
The Bethlehem Christmas Project operates in one of the most volatile regions on earth. We very much need prayers of support, encouragement, goodwill, blessing, and protection.

Pray for us throughout the year as we work in the States to coordinate all the pieces necessary for the project to be successful. Also, please consider organizing a team to pray for us everyday while we are on the ground delivering gifts.

We write a blog during our time in Bethlehem to keep everyone who has been praying for us informed. Even if you cannot go, you will still be a part of the project.

Introduce us to your church and invite us to visit your leadership
The project’s success is dependent on American, Israeli & Palestinians interacting. We need individuals to join us as we deliver gifts and this depends on the Church body preparing, equipping, and sending individuals to Bethlehem.

Our project provides a unique opportunity to interact with Israeli and Palestinian believers. While on the ground, we take up residence at Bethlehem Bible College’s guest house and visit several cities including: Jerusalem, Nazareth, Bethany and Capernaum (just to name a few).

You can help us by sending an email to your pastor and working to invite us to speak with your leadership. While this may be the easiest thing you can do, it is one of the most impactful. We would be happy to come to your Church to speak about the project and the need to engage the Middle East.

Introductions can happen at any time in the year. Please contact us if you’d like to help introduce us to your church. We will do all we can to support your effort.

Bulletin
Coordinate with your church to have announcement about the project in the bulletin. Keep in mind most churches begin working on Christmas events, activities, and supporting ministries in late August/early September (long before the activities or ministries supported appear in the bulletin). Below is a sample bulletin note you can use:

“This December, The Bethlehem Christmas Project, a team of American, Israeli and Palestinian Christians will be working together to deliver Christmas Gifts to children in Bethlehem. Please pray about joining the team or supporting them with your prayers and financial giving.”

Show the film
We have high resolution versions of the Bethlehem Christmas Project video. The running length is less than 10 minutes and it is ideal for showing during service or at a group study. There is nothing more powerful than seeing the impact of the Project to impress upon the congregation the need to be involved and support us.

Financial support
The Bethlehem Christmas Project is very much a grass-roots effort. We depend on the goodwill and prayerful financial support of individuals and Churches.

One way you can help is to donate directly to the project. You can also organize fundraisers in your church to support us. Creative ideas include: organizing a garage sale, putting a donation can in your church’s café, or organizing a team to wrap gifts during the Christmas season. Every little bit helps.
